The hit that totaled mine before I took ownership looks nearly identical.

I can go take a look at the one in Arlington if you are interested.
I actually saw both those listings on the first two in Missouri. My only gripe is paying a premium for the M when my 3.0 was every bit as good.

It concerns me they are at little pot lots, I know they don't inspect them before retail.

maybe you can find a parts car for cheap and just start putting on the replacement parts. Mine was headed to the scrap yard ---- I just couldn't see that happening.
Not any major things busted - just a lot of little things---

There are two very good condition 3.0's by me.. but they are asking premium. First won't budge.. new york craigslist: 6052680671

This one I checked out but ended up getting an M for slightly more with less miles. The owner just had a baby so he's willing to negotiate... love the color combo.

There is also a black and grey M roadster close to denver i was going to pickup. Lady driven, has under 60k miles and in fantastic condition. I had my friend in the area check it out. PM me if you want the lady's info. I kinda ghosted her and picked one up in jersey. John Martin of the buyers guide lives ~30 minutes north of the car so you got an enthusiast there to help with shipping etc.

Those are both nice, seems to be a 3.0 Coupe up there too. I can't justify anything over 10k right now, be a different ball game if I didn't just buy my motorcycle

The other part too is, I really don't need a fast sporty car now with my motorcycle that will still give me the thrills.

I have already decided to keep the Z and strip it down, and pursue my dreams of putting an S65 or something similar in. It will take years for me to do all the repairs and the necessary work for it to work. Labor of love not profit.

If you are going to attempt a crazy engine swap, may I just suggest that an n54/n55 swap should be much easier while giving more power and imo more cool factor...

Hm never thought of that. Either way it will be a long while before it comes to that. This year will be body tear down and part out. I will keep the drivetrain in place to make it easier to move around as it still runs with no issues, radiator did not break in the accident.

Until we buy a house that has a shop then I can get crazy.
