Leave this job to a pro. Please! There's a lot of room for error, as well as damage when removing the old windshield. I work at a dealership and less than half of the tech's are willing to replace windshields because they don't like doing them and don't want the liability of having to do it again for free if it's not sealed or aligned properly.

Kevlar...I'm new here as you may see as you are an administrator to this forum. I plan to drive my older used 325 to work and back. I usually drive on interstate 95, between 95 mph, mostly mashed full throttle to the floorboard, and with a nervous foot twitch daily to and from New York City. I usually get up to 120 mph and higher...quite often...lots of coffee upon the ride in eventually slows me down for the office conference daily. QUESTION: Should I have a better windshield other than the factory installment?
Lol. There aren't "grades" of windshields based on what type of driving you do. All are laminated glass and that's all you need.

My opinion the Pilkington glass is superior to all the others.
But anything without a crack/chips is better than anything with either/both.
