Anyone know if these RY45 engines are carburetted? It looked like they might be from some passing shots with the hood open that I saw somewhere, but I can't find any details on them. They definitely have carburetor style single plane intake manifolds.

You sure? I have seen some that were setup with ITBs in some pics of RY45 engines, but I could swear on Chelsea and Vaughn's cars they had single plane 4-barrel style intakes on them. They had air cleaners so I couldn't see the carb/throttle body, and I also couldn't see if there were fuel rails on the manifold by the heads. I'll look again later for that video I saw it in if I can remember what it was...

Was pretty sure it was ITB. But you can see injectors in that picture. Also possibly a nos plate on the intake.
Who had the ITB ford motor then...

Ah yes, thanks!! With the air filter on the throttle body it was a little difficult to see those high mounted fuel rails in the quick glance I saw of it.
