Best damn rims for an e32 or an e34 performance wise- the perfect match of size, weight. You can go super light-weight with 225x50x16 tires (diameter is slightly lower than factort as these are e36/46 size) or you can go above to 215/55x16, or back to stock e34 diameter profile 235 or 245x50x16.
Just don't try to fit e38 60 series tires, even the standard 55 is too large IMHO.
8" mean big tyres and more weight. 7.5 is ideal for these cars at 20mm offset and you can fit (modern, minimal) chains on 225s with no dramas. These rims look good and are easy to keep clean with a rim brush.
