I have a 2008 BMW E93 Convertible and it is in a desperate need of new suspension. I have read a few forums where they stated that the suspension on the E93 is different than that of the E90 or E92, and the last thing I want to do is drop money on something that will not fit and waste time. I am a total NOOB when it comes to suspension and have turned to the all knowing Forums to be led in a good direction!
Thank you all!
Bear in mind the E93 is much heavier thus the reason the differences in the suspension. You can't go wrong with Koni and Bilstein products but again be sure they are for the heavier E93. I have had many BMW convertibles and they are all much heavier than the coupe and sedan but using the suspension springs and struts/shocks for the vert it has all worked out well...

So the shocks and struts are what you want to replace? I have bilsteins on my e39 wagon. I like them
I used Bilstein B6 HD shocks and struts on my 2006 325xi Wagon. Could not be happier.
If you use www.realoem.com and www.ecstuning.com you can pick off the correct part numbers for your cooooooooo-pay (that is British for coupe )

I also have a 2007 335i convertible that i recently purchchased, and im in need of new suspension as well. Please, im thinking of going with the original suspension "At the front, aluminium MacPherson struts are used. The rear suspension is a steel 5-link Multi-link suspension." - wiki
Thank you all for the replies. I was trying to get an idea for some decent coilovers since this will be a weekend type car which I'll be slowly adding performance to. I don't need anything for track, but something still good around corners.
