Not sure if this belongs here but I and probably many other DIYers have purchased tools and other items from Harbor Freight over the years.
I came across this lawsuit settlement regarding stated inflated savings amounts on purchases. For those who have receipts or credit card statements or purchases from April 8, 2011 and up to December 15, 2016, they can submit a claim online. All others without evidence or proof can mail in a claim for a $10 gift card.
Visit the website for full details and to submit a claim.

I found receipts dating back to 2011 and submitted a claim for "Option A".
Did anybody really think any of these tools were worth any more than HF's price?? Okay, Sears branded some of the same stuff "Craftsman" for a lot more.
HF's pricing strategy is so transparent, everything is "on sale" or has a coupon.
We'll get ten bones each, a few lawyers will get new homes and the prices will go up at HF.

Class action lawsuits like this are a drag on the economy. If Trump is successful these bs, get rich schemes by lawyers will be significantly curtailed.
