Questions on the Bilstein B12 Pro-Kit

I did search and didn't see very many posts on the Bilstein B12 Kit Part #: 46-180896. Bimmerworld and ECS both list this kit for the touring with SLS. Has anyone here tried it? Anyone know how they deal with the rear SLS?

I just purchased a 525iT non sport with rear SLS yesterday. The front end is sitting abnormally high or the rear is just sitting too low. I'll be doing a full suspension refresh and wanted to lower the car slightly. Not looking to be super low. Just slightly lower than the OE sport height.

i recently installed the b8s in the front of my sport w/ SLS. i found that the front way sitting too high as well with the stock sport springs. i ended up having to buy the lowering springs from bavauto to get it back to normal.

edit: re-reading your post, perhaps check the rear for lowering links.

    Thanks for the info.

    Update

I received an email from Bimmerworld who had to contact Bilestein. They stated this kit completely replaces the SLS.

I had a set of Bilsteins on another car and they made the car sit higher. The gas shocks will make the car sit about a half inch higher than all non gas shocks. They will also give the car a stiff an unforgiving ride. It is cool at first. But when your CDs start skipping at the slightest bump it becomes very annoying. I replaced my Bilsteins with OEM shocks and it is a much better ride. I am older, and I don't have to try to turn every car I own into a race car, anymore. But it is all in the beholder.
