    Shop in NYC area

    So I bought a pretty high mileage coupe in the NYC area, and I will be driving it back to Canada. Since I don't really want to end up stranded during the 9hrs trip back, I thought I would get it inspected\oil changed\etc by a shop near where I pick it up. Anyone has any recommendation for a good BMW shop around there? Should I just take it to a dealer? I'd like them to do Vanos checks and stuff like that too if possible...

    Try Motor Works West in New Jersey. I've heard they're a great Indy shop. They're close to upper manhattan.
