My bluetooth keeps dropping after 30 seconds.......

My 2012 135 with nav has had an annoying problem the last 3 or 4 months. If I make a call or pick up a call on bluetooth, the bluetooth stops working after about 20 to 30 seconds (not always, but usually). What could be causing this, and how do I fix it? The musinc works non stop, unless the bluetooth goes down due to the phone. I have been re initiateing the bluetooth on the phone menu, and it works fine till I get another call. I picked up an IPhone 6s around 6 months ago. Thanks for any help in advance!

Hi,

Try with other iphones, iphones with updated software/firmware. Also try Android and Windows phones to see if you get the same issue.

If you're able to pair the phone with your car, I don't think it's a software issue. When you say that it stops working, does it just drop the call all together or does it say that it's still paired, but you're unable to speak/hear through the mic? Perhaps you have a faulty Bluetooth module.

Thanks for your reply. It seems to work in my other car. I will try one of my kids phone to see if it has the same problem.
