I'm anxious to find out, my boost controller didn't work so I've just got to use a spring pressure so I won't be able to lower it to experiment. The 257 is rated at 630 HP and flows 62lb so honestly there's no reason mathematically it shouldn't be able to make 520whp.

All this PSI talk is making me extremely anxious... Spent all weekend in the garage. Probably around 15 hours total, I'm beat.. I'd be lying if I didnt say this project is starting to take a toll on me physically and mentally... Took me a good 5 or so hours to tighten the bolts to the manifold (since the head was already on the car). If anyone is going with the SPA put it on before you install the head if possible and have 3 or more friends help. It was total pita.

Intercooler mocked up; Either going to have it welded to the bumper brackets or bend steel to bolt it to the bumper bracket bolts. Thanks to Butters for the IC recommendation. Its solid as hell

Car is moving right along. Piping was pretty easy, actually. Almost like it was meant to be.

The only thing that really concerns me is having the scavenge so close to the hot side. I may make a heat shield or wrap it. There is literally no where to put it

Where did you get the intercooler kit from? 2.5'' piping?

    2.5" from Turbo
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    3" to intake manifold
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/351193523274...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

2.5" to 3" silicone elbow - This is only if your IC has 3" inlet.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Reciprocating saw with these https://www.zoro.com/dewalt-reciproc...VbkaAuaO8P8HAQ works great for cutting.

You really don't need all of the bends though, I have a ton of extra piping that I'll probably never use.

    How does it sound?

I had wishful thinking when I order this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Definitely is too big. Almost got it to fit though.

Go to your air hose and disconnect the main line off the compressor and it sounds just like that.

Its pretty quiet. Not like the stupid look at me whistling ones that the subaru people all have.

So I got the car running as it should be. Idling fine. Waiting for funds to buy a injectors/maf/tune at this point. Clutch engages great, no water in coolant/ vice versa. Turbo sounds absolutely addicting.

I've read mixed reviews on RKtunes anyone here dealt with him? I would like for the tuning process to go as smoothly as possible.

Buy rajis trm tune, that's what I use and you wouldn't know it's turboed unless I throttle it that's how good it runs.
