Anyone know about the ICV hose? Can I loop it?

Can someone remind how I can keep AC again? Seems like my choices are.
A. Heat soaked intake
B. No Ac.

I made a blanket for the turbo intake. Many people have kept their AC without issue.

Why mess with over subframe piping ? If you tuck it enough it never rubs. Stays way cooler.

Unless he's a Stancy Nancy.
I've ran under subframe for years. I have a few scratches on it but have never had an issue with it. The 3.5" exhaust will hit way before my 3" hot pipe will and most people use 2.5" hot pipes.

For over the subframe, you turn the compressor so it discharges upwards, then weld a right angle on it, so the discharge pipe can run right under the manifold where it gets heated up and any silicone couplers get melted, then add some restriction and wiggle around the AC compressor. And use smaller 2 inch pipe. And use a smaller 3 inch intake. and use a more restrictive compact compressor cover.
While I am being critical, this has worked fine for plenty of 500 rwhp cars. I think it is not ideal as power goes above that level, but honestly, as power goes above that level, expense, complications, and reliability seem to go down.
I have run under the subframe piping for 7 years. It is a little scraped up. My car is not slammed, though.
The question is with no other mods, and only going from over to under @500hp levels , what's the gains ?

Plan on going under the subframe. Had it facing upwards towards the engine but there was literally no room

The cars on coilovers now and I do adjust them every once in awhile. But I live on a gravel road So I can't go but so low anyway

I do plan on being very conservative with the setup. After doing all this work including ordering and waiting for parts (which most of the time don't work or are crap). I may run between 6-10ish psi for around 300 hp levels for a good reliable DD. Should make the car a little more fun to drive
I'll bet you $50 you can't keep it under 8 psi for more then 4 weeks.

I had it configured that way originally but there was no room for it. I faced it upwards a little more then it was right under the manifold which I didn't like at all

I'm thinking I may have to grind that triangular piece on the transmission down to fit exhaust piping.
and...
i still have to tighten all the exhaust manifold bolts. Which will undoubtedly take all day.

This will be the first time I've ever even driven an FI car. So I really dont know what to expect anyway. But Ill take that bet
Gotta go to the scrap yard today to get a couple rubber grommets and other misc items. Gotta a place not far away that always has E36s
Anyone need anything ?
Yep I'll do 50$ on that. 12psi is a good daily setup just enough to feel pretty nasty.
