Holy guacamole, 69th page. happens to be my fav numero uno
Never heard of them Turboh. Im guessing there near us?
car is still on 7 PSI spring but in the last video hit 14PSI under full load with EBC set to 9, crazy. Pretty sure it has a boost leak as AFRS were a bit high

Anyone know what size the idle screw on the m52 throttle body is?

No, not that one.
The actual screw that has a nut on as well so it can be locked in place. I think it requires a tiny allen wrench
Are you running an OBD1 throttle body?
FX STAGE 4 unsprung here and 14.5 PSI slipping with a 67/73 into the beginning of 3rd gear a touch. I do like the engagement and its held up to brake boosting and beating on the car for 5-6 months... but it doesn't like traffic it will slip at first engagement if your slipping it constantly after a while. but my flywheel had hotspots so that could be my issue lol .
Ehh, pretty sure OBDI
This may be a pick a part find this weekend..
Car is idling weird without it, guess it fell out or something

I just finished reading this entire thread. There have been a lot of ups and downs but in the end it seemed to all work out well. I've been wanting to turbo my E46 for a long time now and I ordered my first turbo manifold today. Let the journey begin

Testing in terms of software or hardware?
Testing hardware or software wise?
I tried replying to you with a quote but that required moderator approval. I've been reading a ton of E36 turbo threads to learn how to do it.
He's probably talking about software as it seems your doing all of the Hardware yourself. Is your car s54 powered?
I wish it was S54 powered haha. Just a M54B25. I do plan in the very far future to buy a M54B30 on the side and fully rebuild it
Software
We have software for early e46 m54 that we are in beta testing with.
Still in development on s54 turbo software.

I don't see anything wrong. I know that the aluminum block has a higher chance of pulling threads but I don't mind as my B25 will be the one I learn to turbo on and the B30 will be fully rebuilt to withstand many beatings

Got it. I'm on MS43. I have been quite involved with MS42 and MS43 stuff but not enough to know everything about them. Just the basics like understanding what does what. I have a spare MS43 that I mess around with
Anyone know anything about small engines by chance?
On a side note, car related:
Anyone every have problems with their oil feed line (connector) making contacting with the turbo manifold flange, where turbo and manifold meet?
I have slight oil leak from the connector and I think its because the flange is heating it up causing the material to expand
Still enjoy the car greatly!
Boost never gets old
Gotta work on my 1 - 2 shift
