Is that your intercooler piping? You went below subframe right?

Looks too low. Should be able to get it higher with better routing and clocking.

I did have it higher at one point. With the silicone boot on turbo outlet pushed all the way up. Maybe if I cut the boot a bit. But it can really only go so higher before it hits the swap bar. Car is lowered on Koni + H/R springs so that doesn't help either

Listen to Phil. You can get that way higher.

Keep the pipe to the inside of the inner balljoint and the outside of the of the sway bar mount. You'll probably need a slight horizontal bend.

Each of the three sections is a step up in piping size too. Not some weird optical illusion. 2.5" from the turbo-> 2.75"-> 3"

    I was wondering about that.

    Looks great. Gj

I might use some mild steel exhaust piping I have lying around. Be a bit more durable

That hot side pipe looks better. A welded joint rather than a clamped silicon one would be a little higher. The silicon elbow at the turbo and coupler at the IC would still give play in the event of contact.

I was thinking about welding it myself... it would probably leak under pressure though.

    Suppose I could try

Test it by capping the ends and pressurizing it. Or put an led light in it at the weld and look for the pinholes and weld over.

Anytime I drive this car and put miles on it I feel that I need to thank everyone here, so:

Again, shout out to all the fine folks here that helped me push through (and to continue to push me through) this endeavor.

Here's a pic of my car next to a clean e30 I found in town today (not boosted though).... I could take it... lol... no seriously, I would take it.

    You guys freaking rock!

Bfcfi will always be my first source for guidance, never facebook. Thanks for the help last week though. Even after three years of boosting, I am still learning.

Omg, made a list! I feel special

Yes burnouts are fun, make sure you're using cheap tires.

Plenty of cheap tires. Old wheels I've acquired throughout the years

Took a few friends for a drive during the weekend and they loved it
