Fiance and I drove the car a good 80 miles today
And it's absolutely awesome I am very happy with tune, 7-10 psi feels great. I love turbo sounds
All the work was totally worth it
Wanted to take a moment to thank everyone once again. Wouldn't have been able to pull through without you all.
Side note. Is normal for some oil to back up vent tube?

Good to hear
If you have alot of crank case pressure it could push some oil out the drain vent. I would just get a small bottle of some type and thread a plastic hose barb into the bottom. Plug your vent line into that and drill a couple small holes in the top. If any oil gets pushed up the vent it will collect in there and drain back down on its own.
Now that I think about it the oil may have come out when had the car jacked up on the drivers side while running
Car started to smoke as well. Probably back drained or something

Still surprised I paid $200 for the entire front end of an e36. Seller was asking 500. I could tell he wanted off his back patio so I offered him 200

I had it a bit too low at first and drove it about 200 miles, lost a little oil out of it but the car didn't smoke at all.
I then moved it to where it is now and drove to a friends house last night probably 30 or so miles, no oil loss, no smoke. Problem solved.
Definitely a great solution, thanks again Butters! You might as well have built this car

But I cant stress enough how fun this car is to drive now. I'm looking for reasons to take it out.
I just offered to go out and grab a gallon of milk, I never do that!
I've done my share of trying to reinvent the wheel. But ultimately just take advise from those that have been there. Sometimes things that don't make a ton of sense are a simple solution. I have never had smoking out the tail pipe, but I was coating my pipes and MAF with oil. I was unaware of this and started chasing tons of other stuff as I was going lean in boost. Did some digging and talking with precision found a vent is almost mandatory with their turbos. Garretts and BW don't require vents as their center sections are a bit more robust. I feel tons of people may have condemned precision turbos for "smoking" when a simple vent was their solution. When I had an issue with the piping, I had a 10AN into a pump, draining above the oil line in the pan. But. . .. Was still and issue till vented.

That's really weird, I have no leaning issues. Every time I exit or in full boost I'm seeing 11's. Its gotten to point where I'm not staring continuously at the gauge, feeling comfortable.
Pulled cold pipe and there wasn't that much oil there either
7 psi is comfortable by nature though. And I don't know if its because I'm not familiar with the car feeling like this or that weight reduction is helping? But this is a good street car as is. I have guys who are driving diesels and V8's loving this thing. Its snappy
Although I did hit 12PSI boost creep in 5th gear, doesn't count though

However, the finance HATES it.

I was leaning out cause I was soaking the MAF with oil.
