    Very true.

Usually just minor things though. Glad you guys on here have been such a help with some of the more important items, for sure

Will be taking charge pipe to be welded.

Which pipe should I use? Are the bov and maf flange too close together in the first one, or would I be okay?

I would want them farther apart than the lower one. Do they both actually fit?

Talking about the flanges? The one with them closer fits better to the ic

The top one would be better, a few inches of straight section before the maf is good. Also bov to close to maf can cause idle issues depending on the bov used.

Think this one might be it. Was worried about the hood closing considering the size of big in the last pic:

Looks fine that pipe enters the boot at a weird angle and might blow off at high boost but for now I guess it'll work.

This is mine. My bov is on the underside and a few inches down from the 90° bend.

It won't stay at that angle Will enter into it straight. I couldnt hold there and take a pic at the same time neatly. Boot Will be replaced with more durable one soon.

Is that what you are tlkaing about the angle?

Put the bov as far away as you can from the MAF. Or you will have issues like stalling when lifting off throttle. If its too close it will cause the MAF to go to 0v and shut your fuel down as it gets stuck in the eye of a tornado.

That would be great but make sure the bov is easily accessible so you can work on it/remove it easily with everything installed. I think the location of mine is ideal. It's far from the maf but is easily accessible.

Remember the purpose of the bov, its to protect the turbo from stalling/compressor surge. So like Crazy showed, that's acceptable as well.

It just needs to be between the compressor outlet and TB. Only issue with crazy's location is ease of access. I'd rather have mine accessible from above but it doesn't really matters.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the contraption to the right of your intake manifold. I think I may want one...

Thanks for all the input guys,

will probably go with the last pic I sent. Front bumper is easy enough to remove if I need to mess with it. By the time I get the car officially on the road anyway I would hope that I wouldn't need to play around with it too much anyway. Still have a ton of bodywork I need to do
