Depends on size of turbo, the rest of the system, mods to the motor, fuel, and tune. You could run 20 psi on a small turbo on pump gas on a stock motor (that would otherwise make 200 rwhp) and get 450 rwhp or 20 psi on a big turbo on E85 on a fully built motor with headwork and cams (that would otherwise make 275 rwhp) and get 700 rwhp.

Heck yea man! The first drive feels so fulfilling and rewarding, I'm excited FOR you. lol Keep those rolling rocks coming, and keep plugging away. Wiring has always been my least favorite part.. Sometimes tucking everything and making it look pretty is grueling.

Lol, thanks for the kind words man.

When someone told me this would be 'project', well, that was an understatement... most difficult parts are over though, so that's a plus.

    Made some progress.

Zeitronix and eboost 2 wired up.

On to AEM meth kit next, dreading it, ha. Guess things aren't too bad in life though if your bad day consist of installing a meth kit..

Gotta be honest. I too ran my wastegate dump under the passenger seat.. Way cheaper than replacing the heated seat element.

I am going to route the downpipe straight through the firewall and dash. I want the full boost experience.

More energy efficient than running the heater... I approve. Image a world, where adjusting the fan speed, is as simple as adjusting the positioning of your right foot. That's a world I want to live in. Take that, Tesla.

Buy the hacker from zetronix and toss it in your cluster. Here is a bad pic of mine.

I saw those, looks clean. Was actually thinking about getting a 11" laptop and vehicle mount and leave it in the car permanently. That way I could take advantage of the software. I also have Elmscan OBD adapter/software for diag as well.

I've got to take the cluster out anyway to replace a couple bulbs and rig a timer to the airbag light... So might as well

So I did the whole tablet thing for a bit. But...... It's a pita. Spend the $100 on the black box. Then just press a button when you want to log.

What did you not like about the tablet? Took too much space? Turning it on and off?

If you use a windows OS is the amount of time you can log determined by the size of the HD or is there limiting factor in the software?

I've been building Mini ITX machines via a Antec chasity on the AM1 platform. Super small and fast. Could pretty much mount it anywhere on the car.

PC is already DC was thinking of tapping the LED connectors to have the machine turn on at IGN and a UPS to put the machine to sleep at loss of power. Couple batch files could start the software on boot. Wouldn't need a monitor in the car and if need be the machine could be access remotely via RDP (ethernet, bluetooth, wifi) on phone for viewing logs, etc...

Just a thought. Anything Windows/computer based, I love. The possibilities are endless

You might wanna reconsider using that OE rubber intake boot.

It's not reinforced for boost. It will blow up and leak.

Any reason you aren't running an intake pipe that would put the intake filter behind the passenger headlight?

Kept AC compressor, turbo inlet is 4".

No room, unless anyone has any suggestions, would really like to run filter behind head light but not sure how it would work

ah, didn't catch the AC still in part. my turbo also has a 4" inlet, the intake tube I bought from bimmerg63 was super close to fitting with my AC compressor, a slight blow from a hammer would have made it work honestly. In the end I decided to ditch AC, my car is a weekend car and the weather is generally mild enough where I wasn't using it anyways.

The pipe I have is just 3" though, I just down sized with a 4-3" coupler to make it work. My filter is the Vibrant 10923 classic performance one.

I played around with trying to get a pipe down in there somewhere, couldn't find a big enough hole, wasn't happening. It was pretty aggravating down there just trying to get an air filter to fit. Maybe ducting from the front bumper to supply some colder air to the turbo inlet.

I've realized so much of this work is trial and error, just toying around with different parts to see what works best. I've probably returned 12 things I've bought since I started this and have stuff lying around that I'll never use. Could also be because im also learning as go
