Starting to get back at it after taking a break from the car for awhile..
Spent a good 8-9 months restoring it and boosting, basically everyday after work. But now I really want to get it on the road, officially so I can show it off

I have some parts on order just waiting for them to arrive

Started insulating the interior yesterday as the Fiance didn't like the way the bare metal looked in the cabin

My birthdays tomorrow, woot, woot! Maybe I'll get some more parts. Feel free to send me some free shit

There is a set of trailing arm bushings in it.

That would be neat for the third brake light.

I'm surprised the quality of them really. The last couple times I've dealt with DEPOS they leak and are just terrible quality.

These were $150 bucks and actually seal perfectly, there LED (which is great, less bulbs), and no splicing.

And I think they look good.

Here they are in case anyone wants a set:

and I've got a complete brand new set of Koni's on the way and bunch of other goodies.

Also, ordered that 3" downpipe we talked about previously:

I wanna see how fits. I'm thinking the very least I can cut it and use a few pieces from it and make it work. And move away from this 2.5" setup

I've started working on the interior as it was a mess from the car sitting for 2 years. Water had gotten into the rear of the car. Luckily not too much damage.

Anyone know of a good material to make a headliner for my hardtop? Mine was done, so I threw it away. I was thinking maybe a some type of plastic? or I guess I could just do dynamat or something similar

    also,

a good place to get welding gas?

first bends look a little shallow to me...I'm intrigued to see how it works out. Hopefully bolts right up and is perfect.

    is it laying flat?

    Not really lying flat.

With the flange flat against the wall 99 degrees it seems to bend upward quite a bit.

I'm sure I could make use of it though.

I forgot to put a flex pipe on my 2.5 dp. Realized I need one after reading maximum psi. Back housing could crack without it. Anyone ever had that happen before ?

Still around guys. Seems like its taking me forever to get anything done now since its dark by 530 and cold. Still haven't installed the Konis also plan to dip the wheels a black metallic, etc...

Did get my bumper reinstalled with a set of splitters and hood pins (they don't look too terrible, I'm too lazy to pull the fender off and mess with the broken hood latch cable. Although I may paint them black).

Wastegate also wasn't opening all the way as I was getting a slight sputtering from the turbo when the throttle would close. I really need to get a better BOV.

Its been like 3 weeks since I've driven it :-(
