Interesting,
I was thinking that someone had the had off at one point and over torqued the bolts.
Also to my amazement, the head gasket came off in one entire piece, completely intact.
This is my 4th time doing a HG and its the first time I've seen one pull off like it were almost new.
Anyone have rods/pistons for sale?
I think ill start working on this motor during winter. And maybe a good DIY writeup building the motor? Or is Bentley good?
Don't get me wrong.
Many members have assembled bottom ends with great success...
just take you time, ask questions and snap many HD pics for our PORN DELIGHT
Was thinking just stock

Looking for some guidance here guys,
Couple people say bore it out, get an m54 crank/pistons and make it a stroke + turbo and i'd be around 650-700
Was thinking about boring it out to s52
Getting power hungry ?
It takes much more than just parts to make 700whp. The car needs to be sorted out 100%. Especially with 93 octane. My suggestion is go back and build a bullet proof 500 HP car, one that won't break. Then when you beat the snot out of it so much that your bored, and you try to kill it and it just won't die, then start thinking about 700.
Your car isn't ready for 700. The car should be bullet proof before putting down that power. With a 328, the entire rear of the car needs to be gutted and built.

I had a totally sorted out 500-550 hp m52/35r setup. Beat the piss out of it. But everyone around me started upgrading this, then upgrading that. So, to keep up I went all in built everything. Now with about 700whp I don't drive the car cause its annoying. Way more fun with 500. Should have never went to the drag strip, nor ever pulled that m52. 500 is more than enough to crush anything on the street around here at least. I know some of you guys with nice paved roads, and a big car scene need more to keep up with the Jones's.

Thanks for the input
I don't plan on swapping it in anytime soon. I was wanting to tear the motor down and build it up as I like doing things like that (taking apart and putting back together). And I thought Winter would be the best time to start.
Id eventually like to swap it into a clean e36 with a nice interior/body, preferably a sedan
Been putting the rear off because I've felt lazy lately
Just crank the boost up and send it. These guys just don't want us to have all these horsetorques without paying for all the fancy stuff. Just make sure you have AAA so you can call a towtruck for them because they spun out from tears of shame.
I may not be around for the "told ya so" post, so I'll post it now.
