Where I live, the winters can get into the teens, but it mostly rains, most winters there's no snow at all. When it does snow, I drive another car with 4 wheel drive that I don't mind so much if someone hits it.

When I look at winter tires, they usually have very high tread wear ratings 400 or 500+. So, usually I put on tread wear 200 for May-Sept and switch to an all season for the rest of the year

I'd like a tire that has a good road grip, like a summer tire, does well in the rain but can handle the cold temps that manufacturers say not to expose summer tires to. It will never see snow.

Does such a thing exist? My limited research tells me no, but I thought I'd ask here, just in case there's something out there...
