Quick rear view mirror question

Hello all, my first post. Yall usually have my answers from prior forums but didn't see it this time.

I bought a rear view mirror monitor to add a reverse camera. I meant to buy one that clips over the existing RVM, but this replaces it. I have the factory alarm, and if i keep the rain sensor connected, and disconnect the clown nose led connector will it cause an alarm issue? I'm hoping that connector simply lights the led. Thanks
