Hi I have used this additive in two of my cars bmw 46 one an 02 tourer and an 04 convertible, and within two weeks they both started the same faults , starting up then stalling then, engine turns over like no spark plugs in.
then the engine light came on the day after on both then the timing chain's went very slack rattling on start up then miss firing . Any body had problem with this stuff before
Sorry for the late response. That stuff is not magic in a bottle, do not expect it to replace a qualified technician. It's supposed to stop leaks... even says it on the container.

Barry, the first thing I'd do is to run a scan with a BMW scan tool and see what it tells you, but honestly I wouldn't even know where to start with what you've described.
I NEVER use anything in my engines that purportedly "stop leaks." The only way that I can see for an additive to stop a leak is to either alter the viscosity of the lubricant, cause seals to swell or add particulate matter intended to "clog" a leak and any of these would be bad, especially for a BMW. Much of the internal workings of the engine (such as the VANOS) depends on proper oil circulation and pressure to work properly. Your problem may be due to the fact that the additive did what it is designed to do and has denied some engine system proper lubrication.
What do you mean when you say that the timing chains went slack? Did you verify that there is no spark?
Don't put crap like that in your engine, if a gasket needs replacing then replace it.
