my problem has been discussed before but im still no wiser so can someone help. my e23 745i 1986 wont start. it has spark, the injectors are firing but the dme wont ground the fuel pump. bell housing sensors are ok fp relay is ok main relay ok. i thinking dme is bad but i want to be sure

If you think your fuel pump is the issue than put 12v directly to your pump and see if it kicks on or not. That will eliminate your pump itself being the issue. Just run wire straight from the battery to the pump. It will kick on the pump if the pump is working correctly.

when i run the pump directly the pump runs and i can smell gas also if i connect a light to the injector harness it flashes when i crank but still wont run
