Required control units for a N55 engine to start

Hello everyone!
I am currently working on a rather special project car, that my school has recieved. It is a 2011 BMW 335i (N55B30) that has been completely under water. The car has since been flushed in fresh water and we've changed oil a couple of times and cranked the engine (by manually giving the starter power). All the control units, ecu and etc are shot, and the car has been 100% stripped.

Here comes my question; What control units etc are required to make the engine start? Is it possible to make it run on a simplifield wiring harness with aftermarket units?

CAS with matched key and working key reader, engine control module, gateway module, all relays and DME power supply modules, fusebox. Start button with associated module. And then possibly other minor modules, depending on car equipment.. sometimes automatic transmission module. At least.

Tough expensive project.
