Seems to me it's probably time to just relax a bit and stop the hell giving when you drive around in a Fiesta. Guys in the ATL that go around acting all tough in their teen age daughters first car usually end up getting their a$$ kicked. Maybe in Cali you can be all manly in a Leaf or Prius or Fiesta. Not in the ATL or the rest of the country for that matter.

So Jeremy takes the high road or the only response that he has is "40mpg bitch". You decide. Help me in encouraging him to attend the Southeast Sharkfest @ Chateau Elan in Braslelton ,Ga. home of Road Atlanta. I told him I'd take him to Waffle House and he could drive his car again. Now that it's finally clean. Come on SoCalEights help me out.

    Cheers,

    Lee

Yeah, but if I can get an OEM cover it'll be a lot less than English $60 price tag.

I'm glad that this thread has turned in the direction it has. Please note that one Jeremy Smith has a myriad of items for sale currently. Most of this was promised to me. Oh well live and learn. As I said I did get the SoCalEights decal. He couldn't remove it without destroying it I'm sure. He probably has one on the Fiesta by now.

So one of the things Jeremy removed was an aftermarket head unit which he wanted and replaced it with the original BMW cassette head unit and trunk mounted CD Changer. The owners manual that is ridiculously original and complete has the radio info including the cards with the code. The radio was out of the car for, as I understand it, 4 years or so. The radio powers up and says code. It does nothing when I enter the code. I have had the radio on for 1 + hour and still the code won't process. Any thoughts?? After this length of time had it just lost its memory? Is there then a default code?
Did Jeremy do something intentionally to frustrate me?

Looking forward to any potential solutions.

Yes, there is a default code, it is "Fiesta"!

Ok, so this SoCalEights decal thing is now under investigation. No SoCalEights decals leave the state unattended by a member. Jeremy is now a fugitive in Bakersfield apparently driving a Fiesta of dubious origin. The only recourse is for Jeremy to retrieve the decal or Lee to join SoCalEights. Or we just send out Gunter and Jaeger to get the decal.

Makes sense now. Jeremy assured me that with the sale of the car came a lifetime membership in SoCalEights. He said the decal on my car would be all the proof that I would ever need. He obviously reneged on this along with the delivery of all of the parts now listed in the for sale section. I hope he's dealt with by Gunter and Jaeger. Swiftly. Shouldn't be hard to find in that ridiculous Fiesta.

Rest assured the car is under a cover and the decal hidden until he's dealt with.

Please let let me know how I can help.

I haven't been paying attention to this thread since Lee blows up my phone daily with his constant dribble. Just to be clear, the sticker was left on the car in error as he didn't want to pay the $2000 premium for the street cred it would add to the car. I was going to let it slide, but now that he is bragging about it, I have to insist on the premium. Once I receive the $2k, I'll release the correct radio code and show him the official SoCal 8s handshake. Lee, you have 48 hours.

The Fiesta has begun to have a horrible effect on Jeremy. Let's face it it's a teenage girls car. The last time I heard the term "blows up my phone" it was my 14 year old daughter saying it. She's 20 now. She hasn't used it for 4+ years. I digress.

The thing that should be apparent to all who are reading this thread is Jeremy's poor attitude. As we moved through the buying process together he became more irritable, contentious and finally down right threatening. At least the price of the coveted SoCalEights decal has come down by 33%. He originally demanded $3000. I sincerely hope the leadership @ SoCalEights deals with him accordingly. Surely the combination of his new car along with his degradation in good will and attitude will not make for a good standing member in this most desirable club.

I surely hope he seeks help with his mental struggles and reaches out to a local member of the E31 community for help in acquiring a respectable vehicle to drive around in until retuning to an 8 Series.

I look forward to all of my new membership opportunities.

    Cheers,

    Lee

Did one mirror today. Bot M3 mirrors. Redrilled new holes for different mounting points. PITA. Saved a lot of $$ tho. Can't find the filler plate and cant afford the Euro FTP's.

Just returned from SESF 2017 @ Chateau Elan. Had a blast in Jeremy's (MY) car. 2nd place. There was just too much to undo under the PO's guidance.
Great to see old friends and make new ones. Thanks to Kai, Nat, Eugene and the entire staff. Can't wait to see everybody again next year.
See some of you in Asheville in a few weeks.

    Cheers,
