Has anybody ever installed 320si Style 216 wheels from the Euro-only 8x18" ET35 front, 8.5x18" ET37 rear on E36? Trying to avoid any alignment adjustment. ESC salesman told, that with the tire size 225/40x18 in a front and 235/40x18 rear will not need any adjustment. Not even fender rolling. Need any advise in tire size. Thinking about what salesman sais or want to use 215/40x18 in a front and 245/35x18 in rear. Any opinion helps. Thanks.
My project is 1996 328 vert.
The ET is a bit low, you might need to buy a set of spacers if the tires rub on the shocks. The E36 wants an ET of 41 but the wheel width is only 7.5. The E90 gets a wider rim. so the distance to the centerline could change. You will know immediately if the E90 tire package fits your E36.
The tires for the wheels are a 225/40 and a 255/35 (F & R).
You will not need any alignment adjustments.
