1991 325ix poor mans stroker kit

I recently picked up a mint 1991 325ix from a friend. It has the oem motor in it with around 230k miles on everything. The tranny has absolutley no slip and the motor runs fine for having that much miles. No rust either. Now the tricky thing is that he also gave me another m20b25 block which was pretty much fully taken apart with almost no parts on it. The only thing it has right now is the crank and connecting rods... out of an e36. The idea is that the e36's longer stroke and connecting rods in the e30 block will make it the equivalent of a m20b30. Ill need to get custom forged pistons (i found a website where you put in the head casting, bore, stroke, compression, and rod length and they forge a new set) and ill probably be getting a decent turbocharger kit. But does this poor mans stroker set up sound right to you guys?

If this build does sound reasonable would someone with a little more knowledge please reccommend a cam that would benefit the turbo and stroker? Ill most likley be getting the head ported also

No. There is only one poor man's stroker. And that's the eta rotating assembly with an i head. And tbh, that's not worth doing unless you have an eta and need to do a headgasket. Every other combination of stroker does not include the words "poor mans." Custom pistons alone are ~$1000.
If your e30 runs bad, switch to Megasquirt first. Then try new spark plugs, cap and rotor, wires, oxygen sensor, crank shaft position sensor, coolant temp sensor, air flow meter, idle control valve, throttle position sensor, digital motor electronics unit, harmonic balancer, fuel injectors, engine harness...

You'll also want to use the iX block for your project. There are differences between the two.

I already have the extra 325ix block and it already has an e36 crank and connecting rods. It may not be a poor mans but will this work as a stroker kit?
