Car pulls to right bad. Dealer did alignment and told me the column was bad. $4000 to fix. Has anyone had this issue? Is there an easier fix?

Doesn't sound likely to me. A steering column is nothing but a column used to turn the steering rack. I'd need more information and a second opintion before I dropped that kind of coin. I'd want to see the alignment specs too. Also swap the front wheels side to side. It could be a bad tire causing the pulling.

Was steering angle sensor recalibrated or is faulty? No need to replace column, I agree with White94RX, worth it to get a second opinion from a BMW specialist shop.
