Ok so I checked and if I got pin 1 correct on the 16 pin connector then I have no connection to it in my 20 pin connector.
I think pin 1 should be the one in the bottom row on the far right side of this picture.

Is this correct? I based that from the 16 pin male k+dcan cable pin 1

Bottom left is pin 1 on it. Thanks
I can buy some connectors and make my own, or buy a different adapter cable if someone can point me to the exact cable I need for my set up. Or how mine needs to be wired pin to pin for the 16 to 20 connectors. Thanks

Is this how it should be wired for my car?

If you jusr bridge pins 17 & 20 in the 20 pin round connector you won't need to worry about bridging pins 7 & 8 on the OBD end. Unsolder the wire currently connected to pin 17 of the 20 pin connector, you then just need to move the existing connection of the opposite end of the same wire from pin 7 to pin 1 on the OBD end.

Ok thanks my problem is the 16 pin side of the connector is sealed and cam not have any pins switch around. It currently has no connection to pin 1.
