who works for a dealer? need help with CA smog & CVN verification

I have a S54 swapped 98 M3. I've been to the CA smog ref and passed the visual & emissions tests, now the ref wants a letter from a dealer that says the calibration IDs and CVNs are valid. My swap is completely legit and the IDs/CVNs do match the factory 0pa/0da files but the ref says he has no way to verify and wants a letter from a dealer. Can anyone help me out?

Update: please disregard, I've got it covered.

Bump, help needed. Nothing shady here, I just need a letter that says these calibration IDs and CVNs are correct for a 2003 M3 (which they are). Will gladly paypal $100 if someone can help me out.

BTW, I'm asking here as I called both dealers near me and can't get a service advisor to talk to me about it.

Yea, I know of 2 other people that have passed. There are general guidelines but is up to the individual ref's discretion to some extent.

I'm working on a cluster swap now and will probably pay a dealership to flash my DME & provide the paperwork in the next week or two.

I'm near Sacramento and went to the American River College ref. The guy there isn't very nice to deal with and was even a no-show for one of my appointments.

I scheduled another appointment at Cosumnes and the ref supervisor called me to say they will be expecting paperwork from a dealer re-flash as well, so I cancelled it. Hopefully I can get in to a dealer next week and call this done soon.
