Try posting in some of the local Facebook groups.
Too lazy to get links, but they're called:

BMW E36 World (not local specifically, but lots of local members)

Pick n Pull always has a good selection of E36s. Worst case, call up DoubleO2 Salvage in Hayward, they'll be able to help you out.

what are the symptoms for bad U joints and CV? i think mines are on their way out.....
All good guys, ended up going through and buying a re manufactured driveshaft through DriveShaft Specialist Inc in texas. Couldn't be happier, Cost me $444 no tax with a $150 corecharge and it came with a center support bearing.
I was getting crazy driveline vibrations on decel anywhere above 3k rpms, but under the car just wiggling the driveshaft i could hear this hollow clinking noise and see/feel the amount of play in the driveshaft, and this brand new stupid uro center support bearing i put in was still knocking around down there. -170k miles on this car mind you.
