I picked up a set of S52 cams for my M52B28 but have yet to put them in. I am considering selling them and put the money towards a set of mild Shricks. Yes I know they are harder to get ahold of, but should I go for it? Thoughts?
Thanks!

Nevermind. Did a little more research. Going to stick with the S52 cams.

Well that de-escalated quickly.
Let me guess... you looked at the ratio of the super high price to the low (compared to forced induction) horsepower gain even with doing all the expensive system-supporting mods such as ITBs, full-race exhaust, head work, and tuning.
Eat, drink, and be merry - for tomorrow we drive.
A set of used S52 cams are worth $350. A set of Schricks is $1050. For $700, you get new cams and ones that add about 9 rwhp over S52 cams. You don't need ITBs to run them or a full race exhaust or head work. You would want tuning, and could benefit from a higher flowing midpipe, and an M50 manifold and intake would also help.
What I would probably do instead of spending money on all that is to just buy a used S52 and swap it it. You get S52 cams with it and you get 15% more displacement -- 240 hp stock versus 190 hp stock. You can find a used S52 for $1500.
I'd just put a used S/Cer kit on the M52 for the same price as the s52.

Another option is Riot Racing regrinds. You wouldn't even have to hassle with the core deposit business - you could just send them yours and have them grind them. They're about $500 after the core stuff.
I don't know if that's appropriate for your engine, but you've done the homework and seem to think so.
But you are spending $450 to mod a set of S52 cams worth $350. That is $800 in value. For $1050 you can buy a set of Schricks. Only $250 more in value, but you get new cams -- no scoring or wear, and you make more power.
