If all goes well, by the end of this week we'll be adding a new X3 to the family! My wife needed a new car, and we shopped the X3 and the CX-9, but never made it to the Mazda dealership, she was sold on the X3! She did drive the X1 as well, and interestingly enough, it was a pleasant drive, but really needed the sports seats as the standard seats do not offer any thigh support. The X1 we drove had head up display, so she wanted that for the X3 as well. Pretty much got a fully loaded one: XLine, Cold Weather, Premium, Tech, Apple Car play, driver assistance, HK sound system. It is mineral white metallic with saddle brown. Got the dealer to discount the car $9,000, so it was a pretty good deal for a car with 6 miles on it!
Here is one pic from the dealerX3.jpg

Every other manufacturer should give up on building their own cars and just make M3s instead.
Most women I know have crush on X1/X3. X5 and X6 are way too masculine for woman's taste, although I bet there are exceptions.
Since the "3rd row seat" is a joke in the X5 and it's so common here in MA, I would go with an X6 all day, problem is that every dealer only had 2-3 X4's and maybe 3-4 X6's as they don't sell as many...therefore the deal was even close to what we got.
Happy to report the X3 has been pretty awesome so far and my wife really likes it. She has over 2,000 miles on it already.

Great choice. I would rather it over a 6 myself. What color seats are those, nice.
