Rogue Engineering differential bushing fitment question

I just installed my diff using the RE finned diff cover and the RE bushings included with the cover. I have a set of AKG bushings but RE states you must use their bushing or a stock bushing less you invalidate the warranty.
Anyway, I installed the diff but there is about a 1/16 inch gap as shown in the picture. The metal insert in the bushing seems to hold fast but I'm concerned about any play due to the shown gap.
Should I be concerned or is this a non-issue? Thanks!

I dont remember having a gap like that. I think i also have AKG bushings but the harder bushings...
I wouldnt be too concerned about it.

The AKG bushings fit tighter without any gap. The Rogue bushings are deeper and result in a gap.
I went with the Rogue bushing because of the warranty issue. I sent a mail to RE and hopefully they will respond.
    Thanks.
