Hey guys, this ad popped up recently and I'm in need of advice. Its being sold by a young teen, who hasn't owned it long. Upsides include new clutch and m3 rims. And other m3 pieces? Are the fenders fake? Also he said he would be willing to come down to $1500. I realize the warning signs here, do they out way the pros? Also keep in mind I'm a DYI mechanic who has access to a full garage.

Sounds like alternator whine is being picked up and amplified by the stereo. I'd run away from that car. Right rear wheel looks to positive camber.

1500 would be a fair price, as you will need a new rear bumper cover. As for the fenders, nope, as the M-3 blinkers are in the molding. Also there should be 4 parallel silver grill markings, not 2.
It looks like it has the sports package, and was the airbag light staying on?
