Alright, I've done a substantial amount of research on this and I'm not finding any sort of conclusive answer, so here goes....
First off, the car is a 2000 318i, Euro Spec, manual.
The issue I'm having is that I have no reverse lights and the parking/reverse sensors are not working. Both of these malfunctions occurred at the same time. I have no lights on the dash indicating any bulb is blown and I checked them as well. All fuses are good, and the reverse sensor on the transmission is also good. Additionally, I'm getting power to the sensor and then all the way back up to where the ECU is located.
So, I'm at a loss as to what may be causing this issue. I've had people speculate the LCM could be bad, or the parking sensor module; however, do either of these control both lights and sensors? Has anyone experienced this problem before, and what was the solution, if any?
Thanks

Power to actual light socket? If not the check the wiring harness from the body into the trunk light for broken wires
No, there is no power to the light socket. That's the problem.
It's as if the sensor on the transmission were bad. But it's not, it's good.
Check the wiring from the body in the trunk lid!
So I've checked the wiring, no issue that I've found. Additionally, a wiring issue on the trunk lid would not explain why the reverse sensors quit working simultaneously.
Oh, additionally, the sensors are not clicking/ticking when in revers...
