Wet in both drivers and passenger footwell

After a very hard rain I found that both the passenger and drivers side footwells were soaked. My car is usually parked on a slight uphill but this was while it was level. Passenger vapor barrier was removed and resealed (new butyl) couple years ago when I replaced the window lift mechanism.

Am I looking at leaking barriers or is there another pdrivers.jpgpassenger.jpg

    Thanks.

Vapor barriers not sealed, missing or damaged. Most common, then sunroof drains. We use a 3m strip black ribbon stuff comes rolled up, I don't know the part number for it. Once the leak is fiqured out, shop vac the water up, put fans blowing right the carpet overnight, if it's really wet you remove the front seats lift up the carpets, vacuum up the water then leave the fans on overnight

Are your A pillars wet? If so I'd start with the sunroof drains. They can get disconnected from the port and the water will run down the inside of the pillars into the car
