I have purchaced a few items from Jay without issue until recently. He sent the wrong part which I returned at my own cost and I paid for sun visors I never received. He was in contact with me however I have not heard from him in a while and he does owe me a refund (which at this point isn't looking good, I hope I'm wrong and that he is okay).

If anyone is near his shop (warehouse) I would appreciate if you could reach out for me in person.

    Thanks!

He's had a lot of personal dilemmas these past two months (Injuries and his mother recently fell sick and was hospitalized).

I never intended on sharing any of this but since you're experiencing similar issues I figured I should share my recent experience with him. I bought a set of headlights and some miscellaneous parts from him back in the middle of May and it took him over a month to ship them. The headlights arrived completely destroyed. He insisted that I buy the lower light brackets because they were delicate to remove so I agreed even though it was an additional $120 for parts I didn't want or need. When the lights arrived I knew why he insisted. Someone made some shitty repairs to the hinge on the light housing which he didn't want to risk breaking. However, the shitty repair broke during shipping along with all of the glass lenses and internal adjusters. I was pissed. Everything else he sent me was also in terrible condition. The interior panel was more scratched than the one I was trying to replace and the license plate bracket looked like a dog had chewed it. I was super disappointed.

Anyway, I had to open a PayPal case to get a partial refund to cover the cost of replacing all the damaged light parts (which half of the parts are NLA so I'm not sure exactly how I'm going to fix everything). He kept dragging his feet and saying he needed to add money to his account even though PayPal immediately pulled the $1200 funds from his account when I opened the case making it available for a full or partial refund. It was a circus quite honestly. Worst international buying experience to date. I was quite worried I would be out of luck. Fortunately, I just got the refund yesterday after calling PayPal and getting them to escalate the case and issue the refund themselves.

I fully understand that life happens but he needs to improve his customer relations. I shouldn't have to hound him to make a bad situation right. Sounds like you are having the same issues. I'm just glad I decided to pay him the extra 3% PayPal fee for having him send me an actual invoice instead of sending him money as family and friends like he wanted me to. If I had done that I'd be out the $550 refund I was able to get back. If you don't have his WhatsApp number send me a PM and I'll share it with you. He responds to that most frequently. Facebook, eBay, and emails not so much.

If you paid with paypal, File a complaint, They will snatch the money out of his account right now and they will message him to communicate with you and make it right. If he doesn't they will ask you if you want them to step in and usually grant you a full refund in 24 hours, Never pay to ship the wrong part back, That's the sellers responsibility for screwing up, Paypal will let you keep the wrong part as well unless the seller sends you a return shipping label.
