Experience with Drift Dialects E36 Chassis-Mounted Wing?

Looking for an inexpensive wing for my E36 track car, and I came across this: http://driftdialects.com/products/ch...nt-bmw-e36-kit

I like the idea of a chassis mounted wing, rather than trunk mounted. They make aluminum stanchions and a carbon wing for a pretty reasonable price.

Question is: does anyone have experience with this fabricator? Can anyone more experienced with aero components see obvious design issues with this part?

    Seen this wing around California.

I think you can buy it directly from Battle Aero.

They are on Instagram and Facebook. Might be cheaper.

I know one guy who had it - seemed like a nicely made piece. Not sure about the design though or how effective it is.

I believe Hard Motorsport are coming out with a Chassis Mounted Wing soon so it might be worth holding out for that...

One of the design flaws I see is the flimsy aluminium mounts, the topside looks very prone to bending, also because the stanchions are bend in that place (top side, above the trunk) that would make it loose a lot of it's effectiveness.

Yeah you can just get it direct from battle aero. I had the street faction and loved it, but unfortunately a wall impact took it out.

one potential issue I see is if you drift, that whole set up is hanging in the wind when you are sideways. First cone, barrel, or wall you get too close to it's 900 in the crapper. The wing does not look to be a functional cross section either. Looks cool but doesn't seem really functional personally. my .02 cents. your milage may vary, only unit at this price, prior sales excluded, not to be used in conjunction with any other offers, limited to only one per household. Void where prohibited.

As previously stated, you can get it directly from Battle Aero. I've run this setup for two years now. Actually, my car is that teal and black wrapped one in the pictures on the site. And I can attest to its functionality. I added the wing and a front splitter from Bimmerworld at the same time. I dropped seconds off my lap times everywhere. It is a little flimsy on the e36. You'll need to run the trunk brackets to support it. Hope this answers some questions.

Thanks, all, for the responses. I think I may hold out for the Hard Motorsport setup (http://www.hardmotorsport.com/hard-m...bmw-e36-coupe/) which seems to be a bit more rigid and clearly more oriented for grip than drifting.
