Z3 Seat question

I just picked up a nice Red with Black interior 98 Z3 manual roadster for my wife its our first Z car , it came with Corbeau racing seats ( im going to put them in my 01 M3 track car)wife hates them, I am having trouble locating a set of seats , will Z4 seats fit in the Z3 or are there any other seats like the stock ones that I can retro fit in there, Miata seats look similar??

any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what i remember only z3 seats will fit... and maybe porsche boxster? Too bad your not closer... I have a set of seats, but not looking to ship .

edit: i wanted to add, there are flew seats that are narrow enough go fit the z3, combine that with the seat bracket that no other BMWs share. I have only seen oem z3 seats, some aftermarket seats, and one z3 with boxster seats.

Z3 sport seats would be easiest and best looking combo.

There are some seats that will fit easily, for example certain carbon seats which I am going to get but they cost as much as the car alone.

Z4 seats will not fit. They are too wide. Even e36 seats are too big for our cars. Your options are basically z3 or a few types of race seats

Thanks yes I have fix back race seats in the now but it's too hard for my wife to get in and out of...

Not a steal, condition justifies the price. But you can buy these and retrim them with more desirable and better looking z3m seat covers (internals for sport seats and z3m are identical, only leather stitching is different).

Not too far away from you is someone dismantling one. Seats will need reskinning, but at the right price it might be worth it.

Not sure if you got my PM. I have free seats in rough shape we can pull from by brothers salvage (head gasket among other things) roadster in Vineland, NJ. They were heated if I remember correctly but definitely need to be re-covered.

I ended up buying Kondatas refurbished Z3M blck with red stitching roadster seats.... cant wait till they get here..
