Probably in collections at the moment because we do see them in the club scene.

Just two I have seen.... but what's the point of this excercise?
Thanks for the info....that silver CSi's mileage is unbelievably low!

Assume you meant you don't see these cars in the club scene?

As for the point of this thread......other than sheer curiosity, I hope it also promotes some discussion, especially on the pros and cons of owning such a car and not actually using it for its designed purpose.
I'll be the first to admit that my own CSi has been somewhat 'under-utilized' throughout its 23-year life, but to be fair, it has actually been driven in anger from time to time and serviced/maintained accordingly.
I personally get more satisfaction from glancing back at this machine in a car park, the hot exhaust still ticking as it slowly cools, than I would from occasionally peeking at her beneath a dust cover in a sterile garage.
Likewise, there's more pleasure for me in washing off actual bugs and road grime following a spirited drive (or track day in the rain!!)........than occasionally dusting off a highly-polished set of wheels or flawless paintwork.

I understand your point completely, however the sultan's and Wang's VINs are on this forum and the M registry open information pages; so to post them here won't really do much further damage. 😊

But as for the Sultan's cars, if you're resourceful enough you should be able to find them anyway.

True enough, Alec....details of the Sultan's two CSi's (CC88046 & CC88048) were previously published in this forum, with a link from a German car forum.
They are not listed in the M Registry.

Wang Hong's two 'Hellrot' US-CSi's are listed in the M Registry, but he has chosen not to divulge their VIN's in that database, so for now I'll maintain discretion in this regard.
Interesting to note that both are described in the M Registry as "European delivery" cars.

The owner of Kelly BMW in Columbus Ohio has a CSi in his extensive collection that most likely qualifies as one of the lowest mileage examples.
There's a glimpse of it in post #17 of this thread:

Lindsay Fox's 850 CSi has ~12 500 miles (20 000km) on it last time I saw it (about two months ago). A post full of pics and the full story here if you're interested http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/sh...0-Lots-of-pics!

The most driven car of his that I've seen is around ~90 000kms.

Thanks for the info and link- that CSi looks to be in very good company!
Would be good to learn more about it, if anyone knows the car or its owner.

    Thanks for the update!
From what you've said, the mileage on this car hasn't noticeably increased since you photographed it back in October 2014!
I was a little surprised by the slightly scruffy condition shown in those pics - for such a low mileage car that is seldom driven.

It doesn't qualify for the sub-10k mile club, but certainly joins the few other CSi's in the 10-20k category and is most likely the lowest mileage example of the seven (7) non-UK spec EG 92's.
[Interesting to note that, of these seven CSi's, only the two Hong Kong market cars came with Sports Seats (S481A).
With the demise of the other HK car a few years ago, that leaves my CSi as the only one so-equipped].
