E36 Coupe Roof Rack
Super rare BMW E36 COUPE roof rack. Does not fit sedans.
Thule 400xt feet and crossbars with Thule Fit Kit 174. I purchased the fit kit 174 as new old stock and they have been used only 3-4 times. That's the rubber pad part that actually touches your cars paint. Comes with keys and locks on 2 of the 4 feet. As you can see, I used the roof rack to transport wheels and tires to the track. Now I have a sedan and no use for this rack.
Asking $300 + shipping or $333 + shipping through stupid Panjo.

Thanks! Wheels and tires on the roof definitely turned heads in the paddock.

PM replied. Still for sale.
Price is OBO!
To the top.
$200?
That smiley face is another zero and you meant $2,000 ... right!?!
Sending PM.
This is seriously cool....never thought the weight of the roof could handle the weight of wheels. Do I need a roll cage for support?
I have 245/40R17, so wondering if I could do the same thing? Which would save space in my car for other stuff. :-)

Thanks, it definitely turns heads in the paddock and driving to/from. If you want, I'll throw in the long threaded rod, washers, and wingnuts. All you'd need to source are two ratchet straps. The cage does not support the roof rack at all so you don't need one. The weight is all on the edge of the roof which is a structural component and plenty strong. I also used the interior to store other track stuff -- popup tent, camping gear, tools, misc. fluids, etc. I'd keep this if I didn't crash the coupe and build a sedan.
