is there a newer generration Nitto NT01 coming??

Anyone heard if Nitto is doing a revised NT01 or if another brand has a new similar R-comp tire coming in 2017?

I have found great success running on NT01's in my E36 M3 track car. I have tried other brands and love the feel of the NT01 and its durability. They may not be ultimately as fast as a Toyo RR, but with twice the life and minimal drop off its a better choice - for me.

I'm waiting see how the new Toyo R888R is compared to the R888 and NT01. I haven't been able to find a side by side comparison.
