Question: when I post a picture, I cant open it up to see it. My tablet says "click here for a larger version". But when I do, I get the littke whirelbird thingie going round and round. Then when I click on it I get a "network error". I'm going nuts and cab't figure out why it is. Any ideas?

Use a third party photo site like photobucket and link to the photos. Copy and paste the IMG link. Easier than trying to upload right from your device.

Photobucket is so 2000's. Go for imgur. The images will never disappear from there.

PS - what is the purpose of that crossover bar (over the engine from strut to strut mounts)?

The strut bar keeps the front suspension from flexing. All cars do it, especially convertibles, but it does help handling and control.

I took a 19x8 wheel off of my 525 it and put it on the 740. This is in place of the 18's Style 5 wheels. Just a test, but I like them. The black goes with the lower skirt, the chrome ring goes with the accents on the side/bumper. What the opinions. I hope the pic takes.

IMO I think those wheels are too dark for the car, the style 5's look great though!

    I'd definitely use 19's on 7 and 18's on 5

I still like the MVR. They just need the barrels painted silver.

    What about Throwing Stars?

Nothing can go wrong with those (for some reason I can't find them on E38 anywhere)

Aren't they normally 17"? Or did they come in 18?

Would a 255/35/19 tire be ok on a 740i? Again, my MVR wheelsxare 8.5 and 9.5. Thanks
