smoky burnout with an e46 m3

Just an FYI if you were wondering if we could. Disable the traction control, drop the clutch at a few thousand rpms and lightly tap the brake pedal a few times as the rear tires light up. Works great! lots of fun but will definitely result in increased tire costs down the road.

Go to an autocross or something. If you're wondering whether an e46 m3 can do a burnout it's the wrong car for you.

Even better, just grab some dish soap and put it on the tires. You will get the hollywood effect of smoke that way.

Hold DSC and Sport mode button down for 4 seconds - while flashing your high beams 3 times. That will put the car in burnout mode.
