Hello,
As some of you may know I was looking for a 540i. After months of searching I came across a silver 2001 540i with 64k miles for 7k.
What made this a gem was that even though I was looking for a manual with the sport pkg, this was an automatic without the pkg.
Why is this a gem you may be asking? The car was drivin by an older lady who barley drove it! What this also means is that this car
was most likely never driven hard! So I immediately scheduled an appointment to test out the car. To sum it up it had basically nothing
wrong with it, the paint was in great condition as well as the interior and after all that I bargained it down to 5.5K! So with an original budget
of 10k I now can freely work on it by putting on M5 bumpers, steering wheel, rims & tires!
Made a Video of it here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EBX-5pvz8U

She didn't have to sell at that price. And "older" is relative. She could have been someone in her 40s. It's not like he was the only one who knew about he car. It was advertised, right?

Really Gmak? He took advantage of that old lady. Watch his video, the deformation of the car. I see exactly what he is, and what he did. It already was a very fair price at 7.The car was drivin by an older lady who barley drove it! What this also means is that this car
was most likely never driven hard!

with a budget of 10k, could have gotten an M5
He just figured he'd spend the rest of the budget on all those M badges and decals, lmao! At the end of the video, he adds Possible Supercharger. So.... after all the decals and badges, what ever money is left over, maybe he can find another little old lady that has a VF supercharger kit laying around. Win Win!

Wow, the dude must come across quite badly on the videos to garner such a bashing... And no, I'm not planning to watch them. Unless he's already slapped in a limited slip and he's doing a burnout. That I'll watch.
barf to the blue halos, and the M stuff. Other than that, the car is actually clean... Maybe try to find an M-sport steering wheel.
Surely if you can post a video to YouTube you have some knowledge of how the world wide interwebs works.
LOL = little old lady that you the OP, original poster, has screwed
And 10k would actually get you a nice m5, but you've already missed out on that opportunity because you are an expert haggler.
Treat that 540 right.
OR ELSE..
Edit: I actually just now skimmed the video and you really did exceed my brief expectations of the imminent doom that awaited that car.
Now that you've blown all your money on those sweet upgrades...how will you pay for chain guides and a suspension refresh?

Tough crowd!
What else do people think?
You went a little too over board with the decals. Otherwise car looks good. If I were you I would've set a couple hundred aside for a cooling system overhaul
