Post how you have the WG line routing. The TS IWG lines are should be reverse from normal

Having the IWG hoses routed backwards would give me some weird inverted boost creep thing going on.

    Psst, Butters, update your signature.

I double checked my WG routing. At first I thought I had the EWG hooked up backwards but caught myself. Both WG's are hooked up per the drawings. Next will be a boost leak check.

With the boot controller off I am getting 14 psi which is what each WG has for springs. It's acting like I have too weak of a spring in the WG and its being pushed open.

Another issue is that my EGT is higher (1700°F vs 1620°F) than it was with the GTX3582R . I did remove the pre compressor WI nozzle but it was only a 0.3. I doubt that would have that big of an affect on the EGT's but I might be wrong. I may have to retard the exhaust cam a bit to bring the EGT back down.

Is it pulling timing due to not having the meth? retarding the timing with increase the EGT

It's possible but the 0.3 nozzle hardly affects the mixture or IAT.

After being at 22 psi for awhile, going back to 13 psi is lame. I don't recommend it.

Boost reference for the boost controller and WGs is on the turbo. Boost gauge and BOV reference is on the IM.

Ive seen a few setups where moving the reference to the IM eliminates the boost drop and boost spike.

    It may help.

I can see how it would if I had a restriction in my system giving me a pressure differential across the Intercooler or piping. If anything I have improved the piping on the new set up. I'll try to find some time today to boost leak check it. I'm also having wonky AFR readings to the point that I've had to turn the boost down. I really want to nail this issue down so I can crank the boost up and see what she can do with the 'big turbo'.

I must have been tired when I did my fuel pressure adjustment setting it at 51 psi at idle with the vacuum line still attached. Too many late nights.

I've adjusted it and reset adaptations.

Edit. I wasn't tired. The little gauge at the FPR is reading 10 psi higher that the Zeitronix. No I have to try to confirm which one is correct.

I disconnect and plug the FPR vacuum line, idle the engine, adjust to 51 psi on the gauge and verify the pressure through the Zeitronix. After the winter maintenance I noticed the reading on the FPR gauge was high so I had turned it down to read 51 psi again. I did replace one of my fuel pumps and though that it may have affected the pressure but maybe the gauge is messed up.

I did more data logging. I was seeing 25 psi briefly and then it was dropping back down to 20 psi as the rpm climbs. The AFR's hit bottom at wot at 9,6 afr. Maybe the Zeitronics pressure transducer is wrong. I'll need to confirm what the issue is.

sounds like over shoot from the controller. Can you adjust any of the PID settings in it?

The AMS-500 is a simple controller. The only adjustments are boost above spring WG spring pressure and rate of boost increase. It seems to me that I can get close to target boost if I haven't put any heat into it as the boost drops shorty after and it stays low if I go wot again shortly after. My gut is telling me to try more preload on the IWG actuator.

Based on my Datalog last night with the idle fuel pressure set to 51 psi according to the Zeitronix I was getting <9.6 AFRs at WOT.

This morning I set it to 51 psi on the gauge and get 12.0 AFRs at WOT.

The Zeitronix fuel pressure plot had a lot of noise, not a smooth line.

Another thing I noticed while logging with BMWlogger (OBD2 data) was that the battery voltage was not stable. It was swinging between 13.2 and 13.9 volts. The openOBC is only showing a swing from 13.7-13.9 volts......

The voltage for a power pull doesn't seem problematic to me, and you're within a common range. Just my 2 cents.
