1999 528i BYPASS OR FIX ANTENNA RING

I believe my antenna ring on my 99 528i is bad the car will not turn on all dashboard lights come, i checked the battery connections is there a way to check the antenna ring or must i tow to the dealer. Please help ke

Im not an expert, but my battery crossed wires made me understand more. I did but a dme ( computer that deletes the ews (security ) but I have other issues. Im shure you will get much knowledgeable help in this site.
Does engine crank?

You might want to buy a program
Bmwscanner 1.4 or a inpa , to check status re-connect dme -ews diagnoss error codes

Nothing is impossible. But. Antenna ring seldom goes bad out of the blue.

i had the same similar issue last week light came on on the dash battery not even 2 weeks old some how the ews got out of sync with the key. probably due to taking the negative battery terminal off to change my steering wheel had to get it towed to near by shop to reprogram the ews not a specialist but check it out and all your fuses in the glove trunk ect
