So I went to Independent Import sales & service to get my car fixed it they did a alright job, but clearly not all problems were fix for one my check engine light wont stay off (car runs great minus a leaky connector somewhere in my radiator but i'll get that later back to my engine light i had the system flashed by said company but it still returned reading same code as before p0171 p0172 something like that (I have my own code reader snap on brand so i know its not the same as a bosch bmw tool) im getting frustrated
Well it's either one of those codes, or the other, but not both. (One is for rich condition on bank 1, and the other lean condition on bank 1)
See if you can get a full readout with printout or a screenshot, preferably with a BMW scanner.

Those are lambda codes:
P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1)
P0172 System Too Rich (Bank 1)
It could be a PCV issue, intake manifold pressure sensor, a faulty fuel injector, or perhaps an EVAP purge valve.
If you haven't replaced your fuel injectors on a 2009, I would start by checking for a leaking fuel injector.
Let the vehicle sit overnight and remove the spark plugs. If any of the plugs smell like fuel, you have a leaking fuel injector in that cylinder.

You need to find a better shop
I highly recommend getting a $20 K+DCAN cable and downloading Rheingold. That will give you dealer level diagnostic capability at home. You can read the detailed fault codes and run tests to guide you to the source of the problem.
