FS/FT 1992 Mtech 2 Appearance Convertible
Downgrading is a bitch, but I think I'm doing right by this car.
I've got a '92 Mtech 2 appearance package convertible. I had planned to move a turbo drive train into it but a) I think the car is a little to nice to pull it apart to do that, b) After some thought I'd prefer to have hard top.
I've thought about selling it and I might still do that, but I figured I'd check to see if anyone is interested in trading up their E30. This car isn't perfect, but it is in pretty decent shape.
The Good
Runs smooth and strong.
No rust
All Mtech bodywork is in place.
AC is cold
Seat material isn't ripped.
Dash is good
The Bad
Speedo stopped working. Says 104k and I'd add *maybe* 5k to that.
Automatic trans
Seats aren't original white. That might not be a con.
Top isn't terrible, but does need some love.
Wheels need cleaning
Your trade;
No rust
Above average body
Interior should be above average
Dash should be uncracked
AC should be intact and working
Auto is okay
Extra points for 4 door
Extra points for IX
Early is fine. I like early cars. Even with those ugly ass bumpers.
I will want at least $2k with your trade.
I'll almost certainly add more pictures. When I do I'll put them here; https://www.facebook.com/pg/robsgarageisfull/photos/?tab=album&album_id=652286368284479

Is that "seat material" faux gator? Has a lot of texture to it...wondering what was used.

No, but I can see where it might look like that from the photos. It's more of a color/pattern thing than a texture.
A gator skin texture would be seriously pimp though.
FWIW, I have a firm commitment from an enthusiast. I'll mark the ad as 'Sold" once the transaction is complete.
