Has anyone repaired a 320is steering wheel cover ? Checked at the BMW dealership the part is no longer available.

The leather is repairable to some extend. I documented the repair on my 3 spoke sport wheel in my instagram @e21_ochodos. Of course, if the leather is far gone then ur only option is to re-wrap it.

Thank you for the quick response. The piece that I am talking about is the round plastic cover that goes behind the steering wheel.

That part is nla. There’s a guy on Facebook that 3D prints them out of Europe. I saw a post in a vintage bmw steering wheel group. Good luck.

He was referring to the plastic column cover which is indeed NLA. If the mounting tabs are all broken off sometimes you can get away with using a stong glue to hold it to the wheel. I have a couple available.

Yep that’s how mine is. The tabs are broken but I covered it on epoxy and glued it to the steering wheel. Ultimately, it’s just a beauty cover so no issue by glueing it.
